About the Party

Pakistan Muslim League (Z) Zia ul Haq Shaheed

Founded October 2002 — a national party devoted to higher human values in politics and service to Pakistan.

History & Foundation

Rooted in Pakistan’s ideological journey

Pakistan Muslim League (Z) — also known as Pakistan Muslim League (Zia ul Haq Shaheed) — was established in October 2002 to renew principled political leadership in the spirit of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the legacy of Shaheed General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq.

The party believes Pakistan’s strategic location, moderate Muslim culture, and status as the only Muslim nuclear power give it a unique role as a bridge between the Muslim world and the West — provided it is guided by honest, reliable, and humble leadership.

PML (Z) places core human values at the centre of politics: character, dignity, moral courage, and the primacy of human obligations over mere claims of rights.
